吉首市乾州古城历史文化街区保护规划探析

城市历史文化街区是城市特色的组成部分。目前，历史文化街区的状况不尽人意，一方面，城市的更新正威胁着传统街区的生存，另一方面，传统街区内部的居住环境质量管理普遍较差且居住人群呈老年化趋势。本文通过对吉首市乾州古城历史文化街区保护规划的研究，着重探讨既保存传统的风貌特色又使历史文化传统街区获得生命力的途径。

Historic and cultural blocks in cities are ingredients of city characteristics. Now times, people are discontented about the situation of historic and cultural blocks for the following reasons: Firstly, city renovation imperils traditional streets' survival mostly; On the other hand, not only dwelling environment quality in traditional streets is usually unsatisfying, but also do the residents tend to be senescence. This paper emphasis on finding effective ways to preserve traditional characteristics as well as liven traditionally historic and cultural blocks.
