The paper, taking the former residences of famous people in Yangzhou as its subject of study, analyzes their cultural features, problems in their tourism development, and causes for these problems before suggesting strategies for effective development of these resources from the perspective of cultural tourism so as to demonstrate the peculiar charm of Yangzhou and to promote its tourism image and core competitiveness.
