| Abstract: | Based on the interpretation of the newly issued Requirements for College English Instruction for Higher Vocational Colleges,the paper discusses the main theme and direction of English teaching reform.The construction of the individualized college English teaching system is proposed and the problems and challenges college English teachers have to face in the reform are presented for further study. |
