西方古典家具史论（十三） 19世纪法国的复古风格家具——（1815—1870年）

19世纪的初叶至中叶,资产阶级在法国取得了胜利,资本主义的生产方式使法国的经济迅速发展,中产阶级开始在生活方式上出现了诸多诉求,特别是在第二帝政时期。但是艺术品味的转变远远滞后于经济的发展,没落的封建贵族依然在这一方面影响着新兴的资产阶级,这也许是理解这一时期法国复古主义风格的钥匙。

Nineteenth-Century French Revival Styles

From the beginning to middle period in 19th century, Bourgeoisie had won the state power, During this period, capitalist production mode promoted economical development rapidly in France and middle class put new requirements for their life style, especially at Second Empire. But the transforming of art taste was far behind the economical development, declined feudal aristocracy had still been the preference in the judging art which may be the key to understand this revival styles during this period.
