Application of Quantitative Fluorescent Log Technique in Exploration and Development

The working principles, key parameters and advantages of quantitative fluorescent analysis technique are introduced, field accumulated data are used to establish an interpreting chartboard for dividing reservoir fluid properties with OFA quantitative fluorescent analysis technique in Dagang Oilfield. Application demonstrates that by using the fluorescent log technique, the difficulties in identifying light oil abnormal indication under fine cuttings condition and the interference from drilling fluid treating are overcome in exploration and development. The technique can be used to discriminate crude oil properties from different strata and judge the degree of reservoir development.
