| Abstract: | Wavelet image coding is a new image coding method developed in recent decades and has been studied extensively.The schemes of wavelet image coding were studied to link with the characteristic of wavelet transformation.This paper introduces the basic principles of image compression and the wavelet-based multiresolution feature of image,and points out the new methods and development of wavelet image coding. |
