Abstract: | A coaxially layered bone-muscle-fat-skin model of the human upper arm has been used to analyse the helix as an indicator for RF hyperthermia. Calculated values of wave-length for propagation in the system agree well with experimental results. Optimisation of the applicator is discussed. |
