| Abstract: | In view of the importance of traditional alleys the development history of street space in our country is analyzed. From sense of place, fantastic space structure, vivid and interesting humanistic history and other aspects the humanity of traditional alleys is discussed. In addition the awkward situations confronted by modern alleys are discussed, in order to promote the research on traditional alleys. |
