新型超支化聚羟甲基醚液晶的合成

摘    要:合成了联苯氰类介晶基元。改变软段的长度对超支化聚羟甲基醚进行改性。POM,DSC的研究表明。当n=1时,改性超支化聚羟甲基醚不表现出液晶性;n=5,10时,改性超支化聚羟甲基醚表现出液晶性,且为向列型液晶。

Abstract:The synthesis of hyperbranched poly (hyd ro xy methyl) ethers(HPE) with liquid crystalline properties was described, where c yanobiphenyl mesogens were used, the spacer between the mesogenic unit and the h yperbranched poly(hydroxy methyl) ether changed and the biphenyl mesogens were c oupled to the endgroups of the hyperbranched poly (hydroxy methyl) ether via aci d chloride reaction. The chemical structure of mesogens was proved by 1H- NMR, IR and elementary analysis. The phase transition and liquid crystallinity o f the functionalized hyperbranched poly (hydroxy methyl) ethers were investigate d by POM, DSC and WAXD. The experimental results indicate that the functionalize d hyperbranched polyether does not show nematic phase when the spacer is methylo xy, but the functionalized hyperbranched polymer does show nematic phase when th e spacer is pentyloxy or decyloxy.
