Parameter extraction and performance evaluation method for increased performance in RF power amplifier behavioral modeling

Abstract:A frequency‐weighted parameter extraction method based on the performance evaluation criterion weighted error spectral power ratio is proposed. Performance of models extracted using the normalized mean square error are compared to the performances of models extracted using the WESPR. The results show an increase in performance with a decrease in model complexity. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Int J RF and Microwave CAE, 2010.
