2010 Asian Games is an important opportunity for Guangzhou urban development in 21th century,With the promoting effects of Asian Games in urban development, Guangzhou accelerated the implementation of city development strategies and planning, made efforts to create a livable city,and approached remarkable achievements.Starting from the 2010 Asian Games,the recent achievements of Guangzhou city planning and development were reviewed and summarized in this paper,And also,planning and development after the Asian Games in Guangzhou were prospected.
