DEVELOPMENT OF LIQUID PROTECTOR HK-1 FOR USE IN ANNULUSES OF WATER INJECTION WELLS

This liquid prolector KH-1 for use in annuluses of water injection wells contains mixed fatty amine and quaternary ammonium salts as main component and polyoxy- ethylene silanes as dispersant and is developed to prevent casings and down hole equi- pment in contact with static annulus water from serious corrosion and damage.HK-1 performs triple functions:bactericidal,corrosion- and scale-inhibitory,and causes no formation damage.The results of laboratory and long term field tests in many injection wells in Zhongyuan Oil Fields show that introducing 0.3-0.5% HK-1 into annulus sig- nificantly improves the water quality and thus inhibit the corrosion of well's tubing over a period of six months at least.Entenk's PF-301A,USA,is good in laboratory but not so in field tests in Zhongyuan.
