语义网的研究和发展对未来搜索引擎的影响

目前在全球市场里占据主要份额的谷歌、雅虎、百度等搜索引擎,提供给人们的依旧是比较笨拙的工具,因为它们始终受制于传统Web,对搜索关键字的精确度要求苛刻,处理自然语言的能力很低。语义网(SW)的提出、研究和发展,给搜索引擎带来了新的希望。而基于语义Web的智能搜索引擎,则是下一代搜索引擎的必然选择。

Semantic Web Research and Development for the Future of Search Engine

The Web was designed as an information space,with the goal that it should be useful not only for human-human communication,but also that machines would be able to participate and help.One of the major obstacles to this has been the fact that most information on the Web is designed for human consumption,and even if it was derived from a database with well defined meanings(in at least some terms) for its columns,that the structure of the data is not evident to a robot browsing the web.Leaving aside the artificial intelligence problem of training machines to behave like people,the Semantic Web approach instead develops languages for expressing information in a machine processable form.And it's undoubtedly giving today's search engines a new chance.In this case,I put forward the simple model of intelligent search engine.
