The Multi-Objective Optimization for Clustering Approach

The multi-objectlve function for clustering approach in the automated layout is pre-sented. As an example,a clustering algorithm is given for gate arrays with macrocells to obtain multi-objective optimization. Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the mul-ti-objective optimization is very helpful for designing and evaluating the clustering approaches ef-fectively.
