A Simple Analysis of Computer Security Technology

This paper gives an overview of some of the important technologies in computer security area,especially focuses on Encryption,Authentication,Intrusion Detection System(IDS) and Firewall.Encryption technology includes symmetric encryption and asymmetric encryption,and the latter plays a key role in authentication and defeating denial.IDS and Firewall could efficiently protect computer systems form various attacks,such as Denial of Service(DoS),Troy horse,etc.,by using some kinds of secure policies.
