A SORT OF AUTO-CONTROL SYSTEM OF FLYING SHEAR BASED ON GE90-30PLC

This article introduces the auto-controling system of start/stop flying shear which is specially used to cut crop in front of the finishing-mill in the high speed wire-rod production line. This system, taking GE90 -30PLC as the controlling key, and not-metal HMD and photoelectrical encoder as subsidiary detector, can commendably complete the cutting and orientation process. The principle and method of calculation for each important parameter in the system are also explained in detail.
