| Abstract: | In Aug,1995 and Sep,1996,crack happens twice at dam height of 19-21 m in Yuanping Reservoir,the total length of crack in first time being 122.5m and that of the second being 101m.In this paper,the cause,through analysis,is thought to be poor soil quality in downstream dam slope,continuous rainfall and so on.The treatment of thickening the downstream dam slope and other measures are suggested. |
