户外型液晶显示器件的紫外光防护

摘    要:随着液晶显示器件(LCD)应用范围的扩大,户外型产品的应用也将越来越广,如智能电表,收费电话,摩托车,汽车等液晶显示器产品,由于LCD在使用环境中长期受强烈紫外光(UV光)的照射,使液晶的基团发生变形,失去旋光作用,造成器件失效,因此,对液晶显示器件实施UV光防护就越显重要。通过对长期受强烈UV光照射引起外观及显示功能失效的户外型LCD的分析,测量比较了一般偏光片(LN1205T)和防紫外偏光片(F-1225DU)的UV光透射光谱,介绍LCD的UV光的方法,有助于提高户外型LCD的可靠性。

Abstract:As the application areas of LCD are extending, more products are used in outdoor environments. Long term strong ultyaviolet radiation could cause LCD failure due to lack of optical retation. It is very important to protect LCD from UV-rays. Based on the analysis of the failed LCD under strong UV radiation and the comparison study of UV protecting polarizer (F-1225 DU) with the ordinary polarizer (LN-1205 T) , the method of UV protection for LCD is presented to improve the reliability of outdoor LCD.
