| Abstract: | Gold nanowires have unique optical and electrical properties and potential applications in the fields of optics, electronics, magnetics, biosensors and so on. The successful preparation of gold nanowires has significant meaning to the real application of nano scale functional devices. In this review, an overview of various synthetic methods and applications of gold nanowires is provided. The prospects and development trend of Au nanowires are also discussed. |
