| Abstract: | In this paper the main characteristics of MoSi 2 were explained by comparing MoSi 2 with silicon based ceramics,metallic aluminides and C/C composites,and the modified avenues and application prospects of MoSi 2,according to the performance requirements for materials in the varied use realms,were reviewed. |
