Abstract: | A dilatometer measuring system based on heterodyne laser interferometry is described. An electrooptical light modulator based on the double transverse Pockels electrooptical effect in a crystal of lithium niobate and operating in the quarter-wave mode is used as the optical heterodyne. The electronic measuring system uses modern microelectronic components with a high degree of integration. |
