从“术科”到“学科”——现代服装学思考

从现状上来说,服装专业重视技术与艺术,而忽视了学术。这样,它就具有“术科”特点,还没形成“学科”形态,缺乏理论厚势。这就是它在文化与科学领域里地位比较低下的原因。现代服装学建设是重要的课题,我们必须克服经验主义和实用主义积习,认真研究服装专业中范畴与命题的逻辑体系。这在学科建设上是具有质变意义的战略任务。

The speciality of clothing stresses art and technology, ignors academic research. So it possesses the quality of skill, not that of science. This is why its position is lower in the cultural and academic field. The building of modern science of clothing is an important subject. We must overcome the habit of empiricism, reject the superficial pragmatism, and study the logical system with categories and propostions in the speciality of clothing.
