摘    要:JESD204B作为SERDES接口的最新标准协议,相较于传统的接口标准,在众多方面有着明显的优势,可支持高达12.5Gbps的多通道同步和串行数据传输。基于JESD204B接口协议设计和实现了一种新型8B10B编码器。利用极性信息简化编码码表;利用3B4B与5B6B并行编码提升电路工作频率;利用人为加入一位均衡信息,减少逻辑处理层数。同时对协议规定之外的控制字节作以特殊处理。仿真结果表明,该电路完全符合协议规范,并在电路面积、功耗及最大工作频率等方面具有一定优越性。

Implementation of 8B/10B Encoder Based On JESD204B Interface Protocol
Abstract:As the newest standard protocol of SERDES interface, compared to the traditional interface standards, in many aspects JESD204B has advantages, can support mutil-channel synchronization and serialized data transmission up to 12.5Gbps. Designed and implemented an 8B/10B encoder based on the JESD204B protocol. Polarity information simplify the coding table; The parallel encoding of 3B4B and 5B6B improve the circuit operating frequency; the use of a balanced information reduce the logical processing layers.Meanwhile give a special processing to other control bytes outside the protocol. Simulation results show that the circuit fully meet requirements in the protocol and has certain advantages in circuit area, power consumption and the maximum operating frequency.
