| 摘 要： | 利用小波变换进行图像压缩一直是人们感兴趣的问题。本文根据M带小波变换理论，分析了图像经M带小波变换后的数据结构特性，利用人眼视觉特征，提出了图像的压缩编码算法。实验结果证实，该方法对图像压缩行之有效。

| Abstract: | How to use wavelet transform for compressing image is very interesting to people. Based on the M-band wavelet transform, this paper discusses the properties of M-band wavelet coefficient and proposes a new scheme for image compression using the M-band wavelet transform and human visual properties. The experiment result are given, it shows that the algorithm is very useful for image compression. |
