ATA接口技术及在加固产品设计中的应用

文章在介绍了ATA接口标准的发展由来和各个时期的技术指标的基础上,对ATA接口的发展趋势进行了探讨。BIOS自检时,ATA硬盘在实际应用中会出现硬盘标识信息错误,导致不能进入系统。文章深入分析了这种故障现象,并给出了相应的解决办法。另外,由于受到速度等方面的限制,并行ATA接口已经不能满足用户在使用过程中的要求。鉴于并行ATA接口的不足及串行ATA的优势及其潜在的技术发展能力,业内普遍认为Serial ATA将会取代并行ATA接口类型成为将来硬盘的主流接口类型。最后,本文对SATA接口进行了介绍。

Summary of ATA Interface Technology and Its Application in Ruggedized Product Design

On the basis of introducing the development and specifications of the ATA Interface standards, this paper discusses the development trends of ATA Interface. During Power-on Self-TEST of BIOS, disk code information error will occur in ATA hard disk, resulting in entering system failed. The paper deeply analyzes this problem and gives out some solutions. In addition, because of the limitation of speed, parallel ATA interface can not satisfy user＇s demand during application. In view of the disadvantage of parallel ATA and the advantages and potential capability of serial ATA, the industry commonly considers serial ATA as the next generation interface of hard disk. At last, the serial ATA interface is introduced.
