“计算机网络”英语教学课程的教学探索

"计算机网络"课程具有理论性和实验性强的双重特点。该课程英语教学的特性对传统的教学方法提出了新的挑战。在"计算机网络"英语教学过程中,作者针对出现的问题提出了一系列的措施来保证课程的授课质量。例如笔者通过多媒体和黑板并重的启发式教学来活跃课堂气氛,充分调动学生学习的积极性,减轻学生由于语言障碍所带来的畏惧心理。同时,笔者通过理论和实践性学习相结合的方式让学生在理解理论知识的基础上培养实践动手的能力。

Approaches of Teaching in English on Computer Networks Course

Computer Networks is a both theoretical and practical course.It is challenging for teachers to choose suitable teaching methods due to its characteristics of teaching in English for the course.In this paper,the author has adopted a series of measures to ensure the teaching quality targeting on the problems emerged during teaching practice.For example,the author inspires students and activates their involvements through heuristic teaching methods relying on both the multimedia and the blackboard.This method effectively eases students′ fear of the language barrier during the lectures.In addition,the author integrates both theoretical and experimental teaching approaches in class,which enable students to get additional hands-on experience based on their understandings of the basic theory.
