| Abstract: | The third generation mobile communication is the hot topic of people in this field, for it is no doubt that the living and working style in the 21st century will be greatly influenced as the third generation mobile communication is implemented. In this paper the third generation mobile communication and its standardization progress are briefly introduced. It is also discussed why China Unicom should pay attention to the third generation mobile communication and how to prepare for its coming from an aspect of telecom operator. |
