| Abstract: | THz-ray is an electro-magnetic radiation ranging between microwave and infrared region. It can be usedin building a terahertz spectrometer due to its stronger nonlinearity and longer wavelength etc. for nondestructivedetection and analysis of the third and the fourth dimensional structure of protein. The definition and characteristicsof THz-ray, the significance of THz-ray research, the potential applications and the development trend are described. |
