ANDSF技术运营商部署策略探讨

本文介绍了接入网发现与选择功能(ANDSF,Access Network DiscoverySelection Function)的技术。该技术可基于终端能力、用户偏好、网络能力及状态、业务类型、运营策略选择可用网络连接,实现网络精细化流量卸载与分流,有效提升WLAN分流效果。本文从技术标准、应用场景以及现网需求几大方面进行梳理,提出运营商ANDSF技术部署的思考和建议。

Analysison ANDSF employment strategy for Operator

The access network discovery and selection function (ANDSF) is introduced in this article. The selection of network connection can be made by ANDSF according to UE capability, subscriber preference, network capability and status, traffic type, operation strategy. This new technology can be employed to fulfill traffic offloading effectively, especially for traffic offloading from cellular network to WLAN network. In this paper, the technology standard, requirement of current network, application scenario is analyzed in detail and some employment proposals are provided. The standardization of ANDSF has not completed yet, how to introduce ANDSF and whether it is should be introduced is still an open question.
