微波烧结ZnO压敏电阻的可行性研究

摘    要:采用微波烧结工艺制备了ZnO压敏电阻,研究了其致密化过程,运用XRD、SEM、电性能测试等手段,分析了烧结温度对其微观结构和电性能的影响。结果表明:微波烧结工艺不仅可显著提高ZnO压敏电阻的致密化,而且能够改善材料的微观结构和电性能。微波工艺的烧结周期仅是传统工艺的1/10~1/8。微波烧结样品的小电流特性有所提升;其通流量为11.6kA,比商用ZnO压敏电阻(7.75kA)高。

Abstract:ZnO varistors were prepared using the microwave sintering process. The densification of microwave sintered ZnO varistors was investigated. The effects of sintering temperature on their microstructures and electrical properties were discussed through XRD, SEM and electrical property measurements. The results show that the microwave sintering process not only enhances materials densification markedly, but also improves their microstructures and electrical properties. The overall processing time is only 1/10-1/8 of the conventional process. Its small current characteristic is slightly elevated. Microwave sintered samples possess significantly better surge current, 11.6 kA, than commercial ZnO varistors.
