基于小波的同态滤波器用于图像对比度增强

同态增晰可用于减少光照不均匀引起的图像降质，并对感兴趣的景物进行有效增强，本文提出一种基于波波的同态增晰方法，采用一种高通滤波器对小波分解系数进行处理，处理后图像的局部对比度增强效果明显，又能较好地保持图像的原始面貌。

Image Contrast Enhancement by Wavelet Based Homomorphic Filtering

A new spatial-frequency analysis method based on wavelets is applied to homomorphic filtering to enhance the contrast of an image.The wavelet analysis coefficients are processed using a high-pass filter to attenuate the low spatial frequencies and amplify the high spatial frequencies.So the undesired contributions within the image due to light source nonuniformity can be reduced and the object features can be emphasized.Experiments show that the method performs well in enhancing the local contrast of an image while maintaining its global appearance.
