摘    要:空间相关色噪声环境下的信号源数目的估计一直是个难题.本文在窄带信号条件下,利用信号的时间相关长度大于噪声的时间相关长度这一事实,提出了一种色噪声环境下基于辅助变量和酉变换的信号源数目估计方法.构造适当的辅助变量减轻甚至消除噪声对检测性能的影响.对信号子空间和噪声子空间的正交性进行了分析得出新的估计准则.最后通过计算机仿真和实测数据对比已有的其他方法验证了本文方法的有效性和优越性.

Abstract:This paper deals with the problem of estimating the number of sources impinging on an array of sensors along with an arbitrary spatially correlated noise field.Under the assumption that the sources are narrow-band and their temporal correlation is longer than that of noise,a new method to solve this problem is proposed which combines the methods of instrumental variable and unitary transformation.In the proposed method,proper instrumental variables are constructed to suppress the effects of noise on the detection performance,and a useful criterion for detection is derived based on the asymptotical analysis of the orthogonality between signal and noise subspace.Detection performance is illustrated by computer simulation and measured data results with comparisons to the traditional and recently proposed methods.
