Prediction Software Design and Implementation Based on ITU-R P.1546 Model

With rapid development of broadcast industry,wireless spectrum resource becomes insufficient.Accurate coverage field-strength prediction can help to plan sites of transmitting stations and assessing existing coverage effect.This article describes a software design and implementation of local radio and television signal intensity prediction based on ITU-R P.1546 model and GIS platform.It mentions software design and key algorithms,and analyses prediction error in detail.
