A Digital Watermarking Embed Technology for DTV A/V Delay Calibration

The paper uses audio envelope code as digital watermarking data, embedding the data into video to keep A/V timing. The results show that the system can provide real-time and automatic A/V delay correction. Being different from the existing measurement method for A/V delay, the system does not produce random noise to interfere audio test, and does not need video test signal to interrupt live program.
