高频偏转腔及其在加速器中的应用

摘    要:偏转腔工作于超高真空状态,腔中的时变场可以使粒子的运动方向发生偏转,在加速器领域有着广泛的应用。偏转腔根据工作状态,有常温结构和超导结构。本文主要介绍了现有常温和超导偏转腔的主要类型,偏转腔的历史发展及在各个领域的应用。最后,高能物理研究所实验室研制了用于进行束团长度测量的工作于TM 210模式的偏转腔,此偏转腔工作频率为1.3 GHz,加工完成后测得腔的Q值为22230,驻波比为1.02,文中还介绍了用此偏转腔进行束团长度的模拟结果。

Abstract:Deflecting structure is widely used in accelerator field.It works in ultra-high vacuum,and the electromagnetic field in the cavity can change the direction of particles.This paper mainly introduces the development of normal temperature and superconducting deflecting structures and the application in accelerators.A TM 210 mode deflecting cavity has been developed in our laboratory.The operating frequency of the structure is 1.3 GHz,the measured Q value is 22230,and the VSWR is 1.02.It is used for bunch length measurement,and the simulation result is reported.
