基于边缘保持滤波的Canny彩色图像边缘检测方法

提出了基于边缘保持滤波的Canny彩色图像边缘检测方法。该方法利用了HSV颜色空间信道相关性低的优点，结合Canny算子定位准确的优点和边缘保持滤波理论，用边缘保持滤波取代传统的高斯滤波，用梯度矢量计算法替代传统的梯度标量计算法，从而增强了在平滑过程中对图像边缘的保持，最大程度保留了色彩的差异信息，实现了彩色图像边缘的自适应提取。实验结果证明，该方法将灰度空间的Canny算法推广到彩色矢量空间，充分利用了彩色信息，对彩色图像边缘提取具有较好的检测精度和准确度。

Canny color image edge detection based on edge preserving filtering

Canny color image edge detection based on edge preserving filtering is proposed.With the advantage of low correlation between channels in HSV color space,in accordance with the characteristics of Canny algorithm and the edge preserving filtering theory,using the edge preserving filter was used instead of the Gaussian filter,and gradient vector calculation method was adopted instead of the traditional scalar gradient method,thus the edge of image was maintained and the color difference information was retained.The experiment results show that the method promotes the Canny algorithm from gray space to color vector space,makes full use of color and get accurate edge.
