山基无线电掩星模拟

摘    要:利用3维射线追踪技术模拟山基(或机载)无线电掩星,研究掩星事件出现的时间、方位角和掩星事件持续时间;详细研究了大气边界层水汽和温度变化对掩星观测高度、相位时延的影响;从CHAMP掩星观测结果分析,得到了地形对掩星观测高度有重要影响的新结论.研究结果对于解释大气边界层掩星观测信号中断和掩星观测高度变化是非常有益的.

Abstract:In this paper, the mountain-based radio occultation is simulated using the 3D ray tracing technique. The starting time, the azimuth angle and the duration of the occultation events are obtained. The height and the excess phase variations of the occultation caused by water vapor and the temperature variety in the atmosphere boundary layer are studied in details. The influence of the geography on the height of the occultation is analyzed using data observed by CHAMP occultation, and it is very obvious. These results may be significant for explaining occulted processing, signal block and the height variation when the occulted signals' tangent height enters the atmospheric boundary layer.
