TD-LTE Single(U)SIM Multi-mode Dual-standby Solution

Abstract:TD-LTE help us to create a wide-bandwidth wireless access networks to support high-speed data service, but there is also a hidden crisis that it cannot well support CS service. During the TD-LTE deployement to all-IP architecture, different solutions are proposed towards how to support CS service, such as VoIP on IMS, CS Fall Back (CSFB) on Multi-Mode Single-Standby, Multi-Mode Dual-Standby. This paper gives an introduction on technical solution of TD-LTE/TD-SCDMA/GSM(GPRS) Single (U)SIM Multi-Mode Dual-Standby UE. Besides we specify the technical architecture, mode selection proecedure and service processing.
