| Abstract: | This paper reviews the history and status of the optics exchanging technology in the optical fiber networks, and gives the prospect for its future development. In order to benefit integration, it puts emphasis on discussion of the optical selective elements, the optical bistable devices,the network structure and the application of space division exchanging, time division exchanging, the wavelength division exchanging to the optical fiber networks. |
