Dependence of the characteristics on the parameters of a hybrid electro-optic bistable devce of semiconductor laser

Dependence of the characteristics of the bistable semiconductor laser by output-feedback pumpingscheme on the parameters of the device has been experimentally observed and reported. By contrasting the mea-sured bistability with the theoretical calculation curves,it was found that the experimental and the theoretical pat-terns of the bistability are almost the same when the device parameters are changed.There are little differences be-tween the two curves because the practical saturation curves of the photodetector deviate from the theoretical mod-el,and the spontaneous emission is ignored in the theory.
