摘    要:目标方位角估计是进行SAR图像自动目标识别(ATR)的重要步骤。由于目标SAR图像对目标方位角的敏感性,在目标识别之前进行方位角估计能够提高系统的效率,增强系统的实时性。本文在分析SAR目标模型的基础上,对目标方位角估计算法进行了全面系统的研究,总结了目前存在的目标方位角估计方法的主要研究思路,即:提取目标主轴、提取目标主导边界、最小外接矩形获取,并介绍了有代表性的算法,指出了这些算法的优缺点,展望了今后的发展方向。

Abstract:Target's orientation estimation is a key step of SAR ATR.Because target signal is sensitive to the aspect of SAR ima- ging,target's orientation estimation before SAR ATR can advance the ATR system and improve the system's computational speed.On the basis of analyzing the target model of SAR,this paper investigates the method of orientation estimation comprehensively and thorough- ly.Firstly,the general approaches including the extraction of target's principal axis,the extraction of target's lead edge and the acquire- ment of minimum enclosed rectangle are summarized.Then some well-known methods for estimating target orientation are introduced. Meanwhile,the advantage and disadvantage of each method are also discussed.Finally,conclusions are made and the possible future work is explained.
