科普产业的功能分析及特征研究

在已有研究的基础上,进一步分析了科普产业的功能,并对其相应表现出的两方面特征进行了深入研究。科普产业在社会结构系统中承担着一定的功能,这些功能赋予了科普产业特殊的意义和价值,同时也决定了科普产业独特的属性和特征。总体而言,科普产业具有社会功能、经济功能和政治功能,而其表现出的特征包括社会性特征(公平普惠性、战略支撑性、意识形态性、文化创新性、知识趣味性、现代服务性)和产业性特征(牵引辐射性、交叉渗透性、高附加值性、环境友好性、系统循环性、媒介参与性)。前者体现出科普产业的社会效益(包括政治效益),它反映出科普产业的公益性和战略性属性;后者则更多体现出科普产业的经济效益,它反映出科普公益性以外的经营性一面。

A Research on Functions and Characteristics of Science Popularization Industry

According to previous research findings, the functions and characteristics of science popularization industry are further studied. In the system of social structure, science popularization industry performs some functions which determine its unique attributes and characteristics. Generally speaking, science popularization industry possesses three functions （social funetion, economic function and political function）, and which correspondingly display two characterist- ics of society and industry. The characteristic of society reflects the social and political benefits, but the characteristic of industry reflects the economic benefits.
