| Abstract: | A study of removal of iron from-0. 6 mm nepheline-orthoclase concentrate containing above 0. 4% Fe2O3 from the Linjiaba Concentrating Mill, Nanjiang, Sichuan province was carried out with a pulsating high gradient magnetic separator. The results show that under appropriate separation conditions the content of Fe2O3 in final nepheline concentrate can be reduced to 0. 18% and a yield of above 92% can be achieved by primary separation. The products can meet the quality requirements. |
