| 摘 要： | 桂林民间流传着一种说法，那就是“无山不洞”，意思就是说桂林的每一座山下面均发育着溶洞，经过地质学家的实际调查之后，验证确实如此。在桂林市区附近的220 座石峰中发育横向洞穴达到292个，平均每个石峰中发育洞穴约1.33个，这代表着岩溶地区洞穴发育壮观。中国是世界上岩溶分布面积最大的国家，中国岩溶分布面积可达340万km2，总的溶洞数量多达50万个，溶洞中不仅有千姿百态的钟乳石奇观，而且保存有地球历史演化的证据、人类活动的遗迹。

| Abstract: | There is a popular saying in Guilin that "there are no caves without mountains", which means that the karst caves are developed under every mountain in Guilin. After the actual investigation of geologists, it is verified that this is true. Near the urban area of Guilin, there are 220 stone peaks with 292 horizontal caves, with an average of about 1.33 caves in each stone peak. This represents the spectacular development of caves in karst areas. China is the country with the largest karst distribution area in the world. The karst distribution area in China can reach 3.4 million square kilometers, and the total number of karst caves can reach 500000. There are not only various stalactite wonders, but also the evidence of earth"s historical evolution and the remains of human activities. |
