高庙子膨润土矿勘探与钠基膨润土开采

摘    要:高庙子膨润土矿是我国高放废物地质处置库缓冲回填材料首选供应基地,国内对高庙子钠基膨润土进行了大量试验研究和理论分析。随着研究工作的深入,需开采天然钠基土样品以满足试验需求。通过施工3个勘探孔,发现主矿区8~24勘探线的膨润土矿石质量好,层位稳定,与已掌握的资料相符。对比两个拟开采位置的矿石质量、矿层厚度、开采条件等,确定使用露天剥离的方式开采膨润土样品,并对开采出的矿石进行初步加工提纯,完成了开采未来5~10年缓冲回填材料试验研究所需样品的任务。

Abstract:Gaomiaozi(GMZ) bentonite had been chosen as the candidate buffer/backfill material for high-level radioactive waste(HLW) disposal in China through a national screening and selection. In recent years, a large number of laboratory tests and theoretical analysis had been conducted on natural GMZ sodium bentonite. New sodium bentonite powder is needed to insure the continuity of the research. Three boreholes were drilled to reveal and verify various parameters, and it is found that the quality of sodium bentonite between exploratory lines 8-24 is good and stable, which conform to the previous exploration data. Open pit mining was employed to excavate sodium bentonite through a comparison taking into account the quality, thickness of bentonite layer, geological condition, etc. of two targeted locations. Preliminary processing and purification was adopted to improve the quality of excavated sodium bentonite. Through this work, natural GMZ sodium bentonite samples was successfully excavated, which is essential to the buffer/backfill material research work in the next 5 to 10 years.
