| Abstract: | Induced flotation behviors of many sulphide mineralshave been investigated.It was found that thereexists a great difference between the flotation behaviors of every two minerals. On the basis of this phe-nomenon, new flotation separation flowsheets have been designed. Some of them were called the differentialself-induced flotation flowsheet of chlcopyrite, the differential Na2S-induced flotation flowsheet of pyrite,and the differential Na2S-induced flotation flowsheet of gold. The laboratory and plant scale tests of thosethree new flowsheets have been carried out to treat different types of sulphide ores. They were a copper-zinc-arsenic ore and two copper ores, a lead-zinc-sulfur ore and a molybdenum-bismuth-sulfur ore, and liberatedand associated golds from two ores. The flotation results were more satisfactory than thOse by the conven-tional xanthate flotation flowsheets. In addition , the consumptions of flotation reagents were smaller and theflowsheet structures were simpler. |
