Development and Prospect of Mining Systems Engineering

Mining systems engineering is a new branch of discipline formed in recent forty years through the combination of mining engineering and systems engineering.The historical development of mining systems engineering both at home and abroad and the current status of its research are discussed and the theoretical basis of its research and the methods adopted both in and outside China are summarized and analysed.The new developments in some major domains are presented and finally,its future development prospect is forcasted.
