摘    要:本介绍并探讨了3S技术及其发展趋势,对滑坡泥石流监测的特点进行了初步分析,详细讨论了RS、GPS对地观测技术的精度,各种影象信息应用于滑坡泥石流监测的适宜性,并通过国外应用实例详细分析了3S技术在滑坡泥石流监测信息提取、存储管理、分析处理、应用模型及分析成果显示等方面的应用。

Abstract:We present, first of all, the basic principles of 3S( RS, GIS, GPS) and their developing trend, and describe the general characters of landslide and debris flow monitoring. We discuss afterwards the precision of the RS and GPS to the ground observation, and the applicability of every kind of image information to landslide and debris flow monitoring. Finally, we present the abroard examples of applying 3S technology to landslide and debris flow monitoring in term of information extraction, memory management, processing, application model and result display.
