摘    要:针对实际生产中TC18钛合金模锻件存在的成形难和组织、性能不稳定的问题,对锻件分模面位置和结构进行了调整,并进行实验验证。结果表明,采用顶部分模方式可以大大改善金属的流动性,减少锻造火次,提高生产效率,同时锻件组织较采用中间分模得到的更加均匀,强度和断裂韧性得到了提高,塑性也保持了较高的水平,具有良好的综合性能。

Impact of Parting Surface Position on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of TC18 Titanium Alloy Forgings

Abstract:The problems of forming and mechanical property instability for TC 18 titanium alloy forgings have been analyzed in this paper .By adjusting the parting surface position and its structure , and then after testing and verifying , it is found that parting from roof surface can improve the metal flowing state , decrease the forging heats and also increase production efficiency .Moreover, the forging with roof parting surface is found to have more uniform micro-structure with better strength and fracture toughness .The ductility of forging with roof parting surface has remained at a high level , the comprehensive properties is also good .
