| Abstract: | A new kind of new multifunctional titanium alloy, gum metal, is introduced. Main characteristics of the alloy are ultra-low elastic modulus, ultra-high strength, near-zero linear expansion coefficient(Invar property), constant elastic modulus(Elinvar property) ,high elastic deformation energy and without work-hardening. |
